Devices equipped with this chip feature a dedicated Secure Element (SE) with its own CPU, dedicated RAM, and secure storage, ensuring sensitive data remains highly protected. StrongBox is widely recognized for significantly enhancing security by storing cryptographic keys in an isolated, tamper-resistant environment, making it exceedingly difficult for malicious actors to extract sensitive information.

By combining Android KeyStore with StrongBox, we ensure that your User Secret Key and sensitive data remain impenetrable. Passphrase is a a cutting-edge feature that enables you to add a custom word or phrase in your seed phrase, entirely unique and independent of the standard BIP39 Seed Phrase list. This dramatically enhances security, creating an unbreakable, invisible vault that remains impervious, even to advanced supercomputing attacks.

When you enter the Passphrase, it seamlessly integrates as a 25th word into your Seed Phrase, generating a brand-new wallet with its own unique address, entirely separate from the original Seed Phrase wallet. This ensures that even if someone gains access to your primary Seed Phrase, they cannot access the assets stored in your Armored Wallet without the custom Passphrase, providing an additional layer of unmatched security. It's like a hidden vault, and only you know the secret. Even if someone forces you to unlock your phone and show your crypto wallet, this one will remain safe, because it's hidden and not saved on the device.

We call this breakthrough the "Armored Wallet." During a session, your wallet remains securely accessible in the app and is removed once the session ends. To regain access, simply enter your custom passphrase, instantly restoring your wallet with all your assets and configurations.

8. Developed from the scratch

The ECOIN Wallet is developed entirely from scratch, written in Kotlin—a modern, secure, and robust programming language designed specifically for Android.
