Hardware Wallet Foundation Begins<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Today we\u2019re releasing ECOIN Wallet<\/strong> 1.8.7 <\/strong>\u2014 one of the most important structural updates we\u2019ve shipped so far.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While this version includes multiple improvements, fixes, and internal optimizations, its biggest purpose happens behind the scenes:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

laying the foundation for the future Ecoin<\/strong> Hardware Wallet <\/strong>ecosystem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the past months, we\u2019ve been redesigning core parts of the wallet architecture with a strong focus on security, encrypted device operations, and the expansion of ECOIN Wallet beyond software into real physical secure-wallet devices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This marks the beginning of ECOIN Wallet<\/strong> entering the next generation of self-custody alongside established hardware wallet solutions<\/strong> such as Ledger<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Most of these changes still remain invisible to users for now \u2014 and that\u2019s intentional. However, some early traces are already visible inside the app, including the new wallet startup flow that quietly previews the upcoming Hardware Wallet integration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83d\udd10 Hardware Wallet Preparation Starts Now<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This update brings new infrastructure related to wallet initialization, encrypted storage, authentication flows, secure device communication, and future wallet-type management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beyond the app itself, we\u2019re also preparing the operational<\/strong> side for the next phase, including infrastructure, onboarding systems, logistics, and future distribution planning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Most of this work happens entirely behind the scenes, but it represents one of the largest architectural upgrades ever made inside ECOIN Wallet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This release focuses on building the core infrastructure required for future physical hardware wallet operations before the complete experience is publicly introduced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
